Now using our wood fired oven! This class takes you all the way back to the origin of bread. Flat breads have been around since humans first picked wheat off the stalk and decided to grind it and heat it. Roman soldiers used to put dough on their metal shields and bake it over an open fire. For this class we’ve developed four flat bread recipes for Pita, Matzo, Spanish Torta de Aceite, and Sephardic flat bread. You’ll learn everything you need to make these versatile, full-flavored breads. Shield not included.
