BAKE! Camp for Kids - Basic

Zingerman's kids baking camp
Let's learn to BAKE! this summer! Parents drop off the kids for some hands-on learning & fun, then pick them up and enjoy tasting what they made. We'll cover a variety of basic baking techniques including following a recipe, using a scale, mixer and piping bag and kneading, rolling and shaping doughs. We know these valuable kitchen skills will come in handy for years to come and inspire a new generation of bakers. This day camp also includes a tour of Zingerman's Bakehouse.

Over four days we'll travel the globe to make these tasty recipes:
Day 1- American
Black Magic brownies, Snickerdoodles, butter pie crust
Day 2- French
quiche Lorraine, baguettes, Tuille cookies
Day 3- British 
Soda bread, shortbread cookies, Baps (soft dinner rolls)
Day 4- Italian
Pizza, Focaccia, Amaretti cookies

Space is limited to 12 students,  ages, 10, 11 and 12.
