Her books include Shuck Beans, Stack Cakes and Honest Fried Chicken: The Heart and Soul of Southern Country Kitchens, Butter Beans to Blackberries: Recipes from the Southern Garden, and her latest work Victuals. Victuals is a collection of recipes and writing exploring of the foodways, people, and places of Appalachia. It was honored with awards for Book Of The Year and Best Book of American Cooking at the 2017 James Beard Foundation Awards, as well as the 2017 International Association of Culinary Professionals’ Award for Best American Cookbook.

Folk singer Emmylou Harris says “Victuals is so much more than just another cookbook. It’s a marvelous travelogue and history of an under-appreciated and often misrepresented part of America, its people and culture…”

In this one time BAKE! demonstration, Ronni will be preparing a few of her favorites just for you. Sit back, relax, watch and learn as she makes her famous Real Cornbread, Woodford Pudding with Sorghum Caramel Sauce, and Busy Day Cobbler with fresh fruit. We’ll end class enjoying samples of her southern recipes together.

You’ll leave BAKE! With Ronni’s recipes, the knowledge to recreate them at home, happy taste buds and great coupons.

*There will be no hands-on baking in this class*

You will have the opportunity to purchase Ronni’s latest book, Victuals, after class (not included in your class price) and she will be available to sign your copy!

This class is SOLD OUT, but you can still meet Ronni and taste her food while she's in town.
