We're celebrating the official release of our newest cookbook, Zingerman’s Bakehouse Celebrate Every Day: A Year’s Worth of Favorite Recipes for Festive Occasions, Big & Small (Chronicle Books, 2023)! Join the Bakehouse (and cookbook co-authors, photographer, and food stylist) for a fun and festive evening of tasty food and light-hearted celebration at Zingerman’s Greyline in downtown Ann Arbor on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5 to 7 pm.
We’ll tickle your tastebuds with small plates of savory and sweet recipes from the book (like Zingerman's Deli Paella, shooters of Kickin’ Butternut soup, and Musician’s Tart). We’ll have a brief talk and a champagne toast at 5:45 pm—there will also be a cash bar should you desire more celebratory libations!—and answer any questions you might have about the book or the process.
Pre-order your book to have it ready and waiting for you; all four co-authors will happily sign your copy. (Don’t worry if you forget though, we’ll have plenty of books on hand!) We’ll also have other fun swag available to purchase that night (an early start to holiday shopping perhaps?).
The party is an open house so come and go as you please…but you might want to join us for the whole time. We'll be drawing for prizes every 15 minutes! This book is about celebrating, so that's what we're doing! Heck, we might even get dressed up for the occasion, but expect you all to come as you are. See you then?

In this, our second cookbook, we celebrate the large and small events of our lives–with food. The book includes 75 meticulously tested recipes for an exuberant collection of cookies, brownies, cakes, pastries, pizzas, sweet and savory pies, soups, and stews. These recipes and the special days and occasions they mark are for starting family traditions, building person-to-person relationships, and strengthening our bonds with our communities. And it's fun to celebrate and to eat! Shipping is included in the price of the cookbook.
