Kids Camp - Baking Basics
For kids ages 9-12.

Parents drop off the kids for some hands-on learning & fun, then pick them up and enjoy tasting what they made. We know these valuable kitchen skills will come in handy for years to come and inspire a new generation of bakers.

In this class we'll teach a variety of basic baking techniques including following a recipe, using a scale and mixer, and kneading doughs. You’ll bake biscuits, cornbread, cinnamon rolls, Bakehouse white bread, Parker House rolls, mac and cheese (make your own pasta and cheese sauce), cheesy breadsticks, chicken and biscuits (chicken pot pie filling with biscuit topping), Triple Trouble Chocolate cookies and mini cherry pies. This half day, week long camp also includes a tour of Zingerman's Bakehouse.

You’ll leave BAKE! With our recipes, the knowledge to recreate them at home, all the food you made in class and great coupons. For kids ages 9-12.
