The Bûche de Noël, or Yule Log, makes any holiday table instantly festive and it's an elegant finish to your special meal. We'll break down a gluten-free Bakehouse version of this holiday classic for you and then together, we'll make all of its components: gluten-free vanilla chiffon cake and 2 Swiss buttercreams—walnut rum for the filling and chocolate for the icing. We'll then assemble and decorate our log with meringue mushrooms. Wow your family and friends after class with your creation and for seasons to come.
Virtual: You’ll need a stand mixer with a whisk attachment to make the chiffon cake and buttercream. Also, due to time constraints, we will not be making the meringue mushrooms in this class but we will send out a separate video showing you how to make them so you can have them ready to decorate.
