Brownies are easy even without a box mix, and you really can taste the difference when you make them with great ingredients. In this hands-on class, we’ll make four different varieties, including the Bakehouse's very own Magic Brownies (called one of the top 20 recipes of all time by Midwest Living magazine), with or without toasted walnuts; our Buenos Aires Brownies, with a layer of Dulce de Leche (the Argentine caramel cream) in the middle; our Pecan Blondies, made with pecan praline; plus a recipe for fudgy brownies. After tasting all of these brownies you’ll leave feeling magical.
You'll leave BAKE! with our recipes, the knowledge to recreate them at home, and all the brownies you made in class.
In-Person: We'll end class with a brownie tasting and you'll also go home with some great coupons.
Basic Pastry Baking Kit
Our Basic Pastry Kit is ideal for newer pastry bakers, and includes tools we typically use for baked goods like scones, cookies, and brownies. It comes packed with the following equipment: a bowl scraper, a bench knife, an oven thermometer, ten sheets of parchment paper, a small pastry brush, a small offset spatula, 1 oz portion scoop, and a french rolling pin.
