Making Fresh Tempeh-An Indonesian Cooking Demo with Peisy Sulimin

Join us for a special cooking demonstration with native Indonesian, Peisy Sulimin, as she shows us how to make Fresh Tempeh—a cherished culinary tradition of her homeland—and its versatility in vegetarian cuisine as a fermented, soy-bean superfood abundant in plant-based protein and delicious flavors.

Please note that this is not a hands-on class but a demonstration, so sit back, relax, and enjoy as Peisy demonstrates her process for making fresh tempeh at home, followed by cooking up her take on a vegetarian Tempeh Teriyaki Stir Fry, which we’ll taste during the course of the evening.

You'll leave the BAKE! demonstration with not only satisfied tastebuds, but also Peisy’s illustrated guide to making fresh tempeh yourself and the base recipe for her Tempeh Teriyaki Stir Fry.
