Please note that this is not a hands-on class but a demonstration–so just sit back, relax, and enjoy as we demonstrate three great recipes from the book, followed by tastings. And feel free to join the conversation as we go along.
The three recipes from the book we’ll be making for you include our ever versatile Rustic Italian Baguettes, great for Saturday football-game tailgating; Bakehouse staff favorite Mushroom Turnovers, to help ring in the New Year; and a fantastic dessert, our Musician's Tart, the perfect sweet ending! The tart is sure to become your go to fall and winter special dessert, we dare say!
You'll leave the BAKE! demonstration with not only satisfied tastebuds, but also the three cookbook recipes to make at home and, hopefully, a signed cookbook.
Zingerman's Bakehouse Celebrate Every Day
In this, our second cookbook, we celebrate the large and small events of our lives–with food. The book includes 75 meticulously tested recipes for an exuberant collection of cookies, brownies, cakes, pastries, pizzas, sweet and savory pies, soups, and stews. These recipes and the special days and occasions they mark are for starting family traditions, building person-to-person relationships, and strengthening our bonds with our communities. And it's fun to celebrate and to eat!
