Our neighbor to the north is most famous for hockey, great comedians (Eugene Levy, Mike Myers, Jim Carrey...) and their current, handsome Prime Minister, but we are most interested in their unsung baking! Join us to make three Canadian recipes: Maple Cream Sandwich Cookies, Nanaimo Bars, and Nova Scotia Oatcakes. They are the favorite homeland treats of Bakehouse Managing Partner and BAKE! Founder, Amy Emberling. She bets that at least one of these recipes will land in your make-again-and-again pile.
You'll leave the BAKE! class with our recipes, the knowledge to recreate them at home, and everything you made in class, including about 16 Maple Cream Sandwich Cookies, a pan of Nanaimo Bars, and about a dozen Nova Scotia Oatcakes.
In-person: We'll end class with a tasting of all that we made and you'll go home with some great coupons.
